Fast interventions with no demolition required
Drainage stack and pipe rehabilitation
Intervention carried out on a building drainage system with recurring issues affecting both vertical stacks and associated pipe sections.
The objective was to restore watertightness and stabilize system performance while avoiding disruptive works in occupied areas.
Project context
The system showed signs of progressive degradation, including repeated episodes of infiltration, odors, and irregular operation.
It consisted of vertical drainage stacks and horizontal pipe sections, with limited access and high potential impact if traditional repair methods were used.
A CCTV inspection was carried out to assess the actual condition of the system.
Observed condition
The inspection identified multiple anomalies distributed across several sections:
- cracks and minor fractures
- degraded joints with infiltration
- connections between branch lines and stacks with sealing issues
- buildup in critical areas affecting flow
Overall condition: fair, with progressive degradation and increasing functional impact.
Applied solution
Based on the technical assessment, a combined approach was defined, adapted to the condition of each section.
No-dig internal rehabilitation techniques were applied, including:
- epoxy lining in areas with loss of watertightness
- localized interventions at critical points
The goal was to address the defects directly without dismantling the existing infrastructure.
Intervention results
After completion, the system showed:
- elimination of infiltration
- restored watertightness at connections
- improved flow conditions
- stabilized system performance
Final condition: good, with consistent functional behavior.
Technical notes
This type of intervention demonstrates the effectiveness of internal rehabilitation in building drainage systems, particularly when defects are distributed across multiple points rather than isolated.
The no-dig approach significantly reduced disruption to occupants and avoided extensive work on walls and floors.
Importance of diagnosis
The solution was defined based on CCTV inspection.
This analysis made it possible to distinguish between localized issues and distributed degradation, allowing for a precise and targeted intervention.
Without proper diagnosis, there would have been a risk of incomplete or unnecessary repairs.
Recent Rehabilitation Projects

Complete solutions for internal pipe rehabilitation
At REVIPOX, we operate across all stages of the rehabilitation process — from initial inspection to final epoxy coating. Each service is carried out by specialized technicians using advanced technology, ensuring long-lasting results without the need for demolition.
Pipe Video Inspection
High-definition visual diagnostics using HD video cameras to assess the internal condition of the pipes and identify cracks, leaks, or corrosion before intervention.
Mechanical Cleaning and Internal Preparation
We remove scale, debris, and corrosion through controlled brushing and jetting, preparing the pipe surface for perfect epoxy adhesion.
Epoxy Internal Coating
Application of a continuous internal epoxy lining that creates a new protective wall inside the pipe, sealing leaks and preventing future ruptures.
Vertical Pipe and Riser Rehabilitation
An ideal solution for buildings and condominiums, allowing the renewal of vertical water and wastewater risers without opening walls or disrupting residents. Fast, clean, and completely trenchless.
Buried Pipeline Rehabilitation
Internal coating of underground sewer, drainage, or stormwater pipes, eliminating leaks and maintaining structural integrity — no excavation required.
Localized Repairs and Leak Sealing
Targeted repair of internal ruptures, damaged joints, or small leaks using high-adhesion structural resins — a quick, clean, and long-lasting solution.

Como as inspeções vídeo podem evitar obras desnecessárias
Many drainage pipes with infiltration, blockages or separated joints may still be compatible with trenchless rehabilitation. CCTV inspections help avoid unnecessary excavation and identify the most appropriate repair solution.
